Well, we've been in Vancouver for a week. Just trying to think what we've done... Always fancied coming over to British Columbia and heading off to Banff to the brilliant scenery but now I'm here, have lost all inclination to do so!
So, we haven't seen very much of the place at all! But we have been extremely happy to spend time with Phil and Claire and chill out in a way which we don't normally experience. The days and evenings have passed very nicely, without any itching of the feet or twitching of the trigger finger.
We have been out, don't get me wrong. Downtown's OK, the setting very fetching; the parks are nice and inviting; but not in our present state of mind!
Content (Claire suggests ecstatic) to stay with good friends and pop along to Uncle Thomas'! If you ever want a History lesson about Marilyn Monroe, he's your man! Great stuff! And if you want a Canadian souvenir on the cheap, he's got just the baseball cap for you. Very cheap...
Things are so relaxed, some people even have time to borrow other people's clothes for fashion parades.
